How our calculators are built
CompareRealm tools begin with a defined user question, a documented formula and a list of inputs that a reader can understand. We favor simple, auditable calculations over unexplained scores.
Sources
We prioritize government agencies, regulators, central banks, official statistics and original provider documentation. A source is used only for the claim it supports. Market rates and provider prices can change quickly, so readers should verify current values before acting.
Assumptions and rounding
Each calculator identifies major assumptions and exclusions. Currency values may be rounded for readability, while internal calculations use greater precision when practical. Country-specific taxes, fees and eligibility rules are included only when reliable inputs are available.
Testing
We test normal cases, edge cases, zero and negative inputs, mobile layouts and keyboard accessibility. Worked examples are checked independently against the documented formula.
Corrections
To report a possible error, use the Contact page and include the affected URL, a description of the issue and a supporting source. We review reproducible calculation errors and material factual errors promptly. When a correction meaningfully changes a conclusion or result, the page will be updated and its review date changed.
Limitations
CompareRealm results are educational estimates, not personalized professional advice, quotes, approvals or guarantees. Users remain responsible for verifying decisions with official providers and qualified professionals.
